With the release of LGPMS version 2.1, new features are being introduced to cater to various stakeholders. The latest is the integration of the LGU Scorecard on Health designed by the Department of Health (DOH), and the Local Tourism Statistics, developed by the Department of Tourism (DOT), to the LGPMS. The DILG, DOH and DOT converge for the CY 2011 implementation of the LGPMS.

LGPMS version 2.1, which highlights the integration of the LGU Scorecard on Health of the Department of Health (DOH) and the Local Tourism Statistics of the Department of Tourism (DOT) to the LGPMS, is now ready for deployment. As a prelude to this activity, Users’ Trainings are now scheduled this April.

The Seal of Good Housekeeping for Local Governments (Seal or SGHK), in its initial implementation last year, recognized 30 municipalities for their good performance on internal housekeeping. Assessment focused on the areas of good planning, sound fiscal management, transparency and accountability, and valuing of performance information.
