Within the period July 7 to August 6, 2010, the LGPMS database will be open for online data entry for the calendar year 2010. This  year’s data capture is focused only  on Governance indicators. Information to be collected and inputted into the database shall be based on  LGU actual data on the first semester of CY 2010 except for financial-related indicators which shall be based on CY 2009 financial data.

A Forum on the Utilization of the Local Governance Performance Management System for the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao was separately conducted in the Cities of Zamboanga and Davao on October 16 and 19, 2009, as part of the Governance Symposia 2009 co-sponsored by the Local Governance Support Program in the ARMM and the DILG-ARMM‘s Local Governance Resource Center. The said symposia was a venue for showcasing good local governance practices and initiatives in the region as reflected in the Governance Exhibit and as shown in twelve different forums.

Angeles City - The City Government led by Mayor Francis "Blueboy" Nepomuceno launched its second version of the Local Governance Performance Management System (LGPMS) at Shanghai Restaurant recently.

"Ramdam ang pagbabago" -- this is the first line uttered by the LGPMS Provincial Focal Person of Surigao del Sur, Joseph "Josh" Porgatorio, during the participants‘ feedback session held after the hands-on training on LGPMS v.2 in Davao City last August 25-27, 2009.

The LGPMS Management Team is conducting a Hands-on Training for DILG Regional and Provincial Focal Persons (RFPs and PFPs) on the new LGPMS, now called - “The LGPMS v.2.” The training covers clusters for Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

The LGPMS web-based system is back! To recall, the LGPMS users failed to use the LGPMS database due to system malfunction in 2008. The whole year of 2008 was dedicated to improving the LGPMS system architecture and functionalities. After a year of waiting, the LGPMS is now fixed and is ready to serve the LGPMS clients witn more user-friendly interface and features.
