Hands-On Taining on LGPMS v.2
- The LGPMS Management Team is conducting a Hands-On Training for DILG Regional and Provincial Focal Persons (RFPs and PFPs) on the new LGPMS, now called – “The LGPMS v.2”. This is being done in clusters: one for each major island cluster: Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
The LGPMS serves as a robust on-line national information system on local governments. It generates information that are useful in policy and program development, both at the local and national government levels. The training covers clusters for Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. The Luzon Cluster is scheduled on August 12-14 at the Local Government Academy, Los Banos, Laguna. Training for the Visayas and Mindanao Clusters are scheduled simultaneously on August 25-27, 2009 in Cebu City and Davao City, respectively.
Trained RFPs and PFPs will take the lead in the rolling-out of the LGPMS in provinces, cities and municipalities nationwide.
2009 LGPMS Results will be available starting October, 2009.
